This is an amazing video of a reaction sequence which was pefected in 1973, but to this very day, no one knows quite how it works.
What is known:
- One reaction produces iodine (the amber colour)
- Hydrogen peroxide reduces the iodide ions
- The iodine andother charged particles interact with starch to create the blue-colour
