NASA’s APOD, brought to my amazing followers by fyeahuniverse. High in the sky you can see, very near to each other, Jupiter and Venus. Venus is the brighter of the two, and Jupiter is only slightly dimmer. The apparent ‘closeness’ is not as literal as one would hope, as they are no closer than usual, it is just their orbits are in conjunction with the view from Earth, giving the illusion of proximity.
