In effect since 1872, Yellowstone National Park is held as the first national park in the world. Over half the world’s geothermal activity is centred at Yellowstone National Park, which includes Yellowstone Lake, which is centred on the Yellowstone Caldera.
The Yellowstone Caldera is considered an active volcano and is the largest supervolcano on the continent of The Americas. With this supervolcano which on its own is thoroughly exciting, the immense ecosystems of Yellowstone National Park are just as- if not more, exciting. The grizzly bears, the wolves, the bison, the elk, and everything else lead to Yellowstone having some of the most exciting nature on Earth.
